BMI Baby is the low cost airline set up by British Midland PLC in a hope to capture some of the cheap flights market held by other companies.  This bmi airline offers flights from the East Midlands, Birmingham, Cardiff and Manchester to other destinations within Europe. If you are looking for cheap flights in Europe then BMI baby is the best option.

Along with this bmi airline being permitted to carry passengers the company is also entitled to carry mail and cargo as well.  The airline BMI Baby was established in January 2002 and commenced operations in March 2002.  The first flights being offered by this airline took place between East Midlands Airport and Malaga Airport in the Southern part of Spain. 

Because the airline has seen itself going from strength to strength since operations commenced in 2002 the airline has actually expanded its flight program.  As of the late part of 2006 they increased the number of Boeing 737’s that were being used from Birmingham International Airport from five to eight.  This in turn allowed them to introduce a further eight destinations to which their company would be able to take travelers to. 

The one difference that this particular airline offers over the other low cost airlines in the UK is that they have set up a special service for those travelling on business.  These people are now able to select from a number of different services and only pay for those that they actually use.  They have the choice of selecting between flexibility on their tickets, access to the executive lounge and whether they check in online or not.
